The Cinderella Ball is a father-daughter event for girls ages 5-10. This special three-hour Ball includes a buffet-style dinner with "Cinderella" and "Prince Charming," horse-drawn carriage ride, entertainment, dance lesson and dancing, a craft project, and the "Princess Power Circle" that includes a message about sharing and philanthropy.
The Cinderella Ball gives fathers (or other appropriate male escort) a chance to bond with their "princesses," strenghten family ties, and create memories to last a lifetime. Each princess receives a goody bag and a t-shirt to commemorate the event.
Proceeds benefit Family Services' Healthy Families. The Healthy Families program is a parent and child development service that teaches parents about how to care for their newborn babies. It incorporates best practices for creating a safe household, proper nutrition, cognitive development, literacy, and child abuse prevention. This free service is available to all new mothers in Tippecanoe County from the minute their children are born at the hospital, until their children are three years old.
To teach philanthropic values, princesses are encouraged to bring a new board book or toy for children in our Healthy Families program.
